Steven Hightower was born July 29th in Fort Worth to Lynn and April Hightower. Steven has been raised in Azle along with his younger sister Kaci. He is a life long member of Azle Christian Church. Steven has many family members of our church family; he is the grandson of Barbara Jett and the great grandson of Vancil and Audrey Trammell. Since graduating Azle High School in 2008 he has been attending Tarrant County College.
Gini Chesney - Organist
Gini Chesney was born in Fort Worth on July 20th. Gini grew up with one older sister and one older brother. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Human Sciences and English and currently works at Weatherford College as 1st tier technical support. She is the mother of 4 grown children and is blessed with a beautiful grandson. Gini was called to serve as ACC’s musician in September of 1998. All of those who attend worship and special services at Azle Christian Church are blessed by Gini’s gift of music.

Beverly Harvey - Child Care Supervisor
Beverly Harvey was born November 2nd in Fort Worth, Texas. She continues to reside in Fort Worth with her husband Kenneth, her daughters, Clarrisa and Melodie, and grandchildren, Dylan and Daryn. Beverly has been educated in the care of young children and gained experience as a teacher at the Early Learning Center Daycare. ACC has been blessed with Beverly’s dedication and service since May of 2007. Our congregation loves her and is thankful for the wonderful care she provides for our children.
Jana Howell was born October 18th in Fort Worth to Diane and Eddie Weger.She is the middle child with Chad her older brother and Mark her younger brother. She has 3 nephews and one niece, she grew up in Azle and graduated from AHS in 1998. Azle Christian Church has always been her church home. She got married January 12, 2002 to Chris Howell and has two beautiful girls Madison and Lexi. She has spent the last 8 years working with children that have special needs, mainly autism,. She received her Directors Certificate in May of 2010. She started the Parent's Day Out program in September of 2011. She has a great passion for children. She enjoys watching them learn and grow. It is a true blessing to be a part of this program and she is excited to see how it grows and evolves.
Will Ryan was born on May 14th, 1989 to his parents Halli Sanford-Ryan and Kent Ryan. He and his older brother, Kirk, grew up in Des Moines, Iowa. Upon graduating Roosevelt High School in 2007, he continued his education at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri on a football scholarship (he was only a kicker and punter!) He answered a life-long call to ministry after his freshmen year of college and is currently under care for ordination in the Upper-Midwest Region of the DoC. Upon graduating from Culver-Stockton with a degree in Religion and History, Will chose Brite Divinity School as the place to pursue his Master of Divinity. A fun fact about Will is that his best friend is also a youth minister in Iowa.
Alan became the Senior Minister of Azle Christian Church on August 1, 2012. Alan believes that we are all called to ministry, each one of us having unique gifts to share for the glory of God and the benefit of people everywhere. Alan believes that we are called to practice a ministry of presence: walking with others as they experience the joys and the pains of living in this world. He’s served churches in Denton, Garland, Amarillo and Fort Worth. Alan earned his undergraduate degree from Phillips University, his Masters of Divinity from the Phillips Theological Seminary and his Ph.D from the University of North Texas. In addition to being ordained, he is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Texas and a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor with the Association for Play Therapy. Alan and Dana were married in 1984 and have three children, Aaron, who is married to Emma, Ben and Hannah. In his free time, Alan enjoys reading, all kinds of sports (playing and watching), movies and travel.
