Who are we?
DWM - Disciples Women’s Ministry (also known as Disciples Women) is a service group in the Christian Church Disciples of Christ. The DWM at Azle Christian Church meets monthly on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 pm. . We usually meet at the Church, but on special occasions we may meet in someone’s home. All women of the church are welcome to come take part in our meetings and events.
The DWM does have a slate of officers. Funds are raised by different methods such as afghan sales or cookbook sales and in turn these funds are used to help with various needs in the area. DWM weekend retreats take place twice a year at the disciples encampment at Athens, TX. In addition our Azle DWM has a 2 day summer retreat at a location around Azle for those who can’t or don’t want to travel. The women of Azle Christian Church make up a great support group who love, learn, play and worship together.

What is our Purpose?
To provide opportunities for spiritual growth, enrichment, education and creative ministries to enable women to develop a sense of personal responsibility for the whole mission of the church of Jesus Christ.
To provide a channel through which women in the congregations and the regional Women's Ministries in the United States and Canada, may be joined in fellowship and find means for effective participation in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).
